cool - thanks for the tip! I have been trying to figure out how to do B&W without just doing a "desaturate" in photoshop!
One good way to do B&W is to do Layer-Channel Mixer, click on Monochrome and then fiddle around with the RGB channels - you can make it look very different depending on your mix of Red/Green/Blue...
